What remains of the individual in the maelstrom of large systems, grandiose construction projects, and total narratives? This program explores the moment when reality bears down on the person—through lockdowns, invasive species, overflowing digital storage, or the silence of a family living room. The protagonists try to speak, but language fails to reach thought; they protest, but work comes first.
In partnership with Food & Footage, cinema meets gastronomy. Here, food is not an intermission but a continuation of the conversation: invasive delicacies, meager rations during isolation, or a symbolic meal become a way to digest what eludes language. Around a shared table, viewers and chefs transform the anxieties of our time into a tangible experience, where each dish is another frame, and each film is another ingredient.
This is a space where metanarratives encounter the fragility of the human body, and wandering cinema finds a temporary home in the ritual of shared eating. Prepare to taste what cannot be spoken.
