SHORT FILM “FOX SPIRIT”

Fox Spirit is a stop-motion animation based on a Chinese novel Liaozhai. The story follows a shop owner, a fox who transforms into a woman and collects beautiful male customers to turn them into mannequins. Through the lens of intersectional feminism, I revisit and recontextualize a traditional Chinese mythological story using animation.
