International Film Study Conference


Minsk | March 25-27, 2022

Researchers of all types and forms of screen art are invited to participate in the conference. The subjects include the history of cinema, the current state, and development forecasting, primarily cinema as a mass communication medium, and the axiological part of the culture, as well as video art as a dynamically developing form of artistic and communicative activities. The articles can be deal with various theoretical, historical, and critical approaches to films, exploring the narrative, artistic, cultural, economic, and political implications of the cinema. 


The conference will be held as part of the VIII International Film Festival “Nefiltravanae Kino” on March 25-27, 2022 in Minsk.

It is planned to publish a collection of selected abstracts and articles of participants. The best papers will also be published in the “Research Center” of the MediaZone.

Conference working languages: English, Belarusian, Russian.

The recommended size of abstracts is up to 6K characters, articles up to 15K characters.

The deadline is February 10, 2022.

The submission is free of charge.
